SAFEGUARDING
The Catholic Church of Our Lady and St Edmund of Abingdon is also committed to safeguarding and the policy which we follow can be read here. Our safeguarding officer is Anne Green, whom you can contact through the parish office.
Please note that we live stream (but do not record) all services in our church Generally, only the sanctuary area is visible, but a slightly wider area can be made available for special services such as funerals and weddings. We have asked anyone who is seen on the sanctuary (e.g. altar servers, choir, readers, Eucharistic Ministers) to sign a consent form. Please help us with this.
For special services, it is possible to request live streaming to be switched off. Please contact the Parish Office in advance.
